Meditating Together In Hope

Paint, Copper and Stainless Steel | 40 x 40 x 45 cm | 33 + 3 Artist Proofs

Yifat, my inspiring life partner and I, have been creating artwork together for a decade now. This work is inspired by our life together, the journey we have taken and the place we find ourselves now. Meditating together. Meditating about who we are, Meditating about what and who we want to be. Meditating over where we want to take our artistic practise both spiritually and practically.

White sculpture of a reclining angel with large wings, lying on its side with hands resting on its lap, placed on a black platform against a dark background.
A white sculpture of a person with outstretched arms and flowing hair, lying on a reflective black surface, with a hand reaching from a glass container in the background.
Group of people around a table viewing a glass case with a sculpture inside at an indoor event.
Sculpture of a whale created with white material, with small whale figures on its back, set against a black background, and a reflective metallic element behind it.
A modern sculpture group featuring a pair of white hands with detailed fingers, an abstract white face with closed eyes, and a tall, reflective metallic cylinder, all mounted on a black platform with a glossy surface.
A white sculpture representing a hand holding a metallic cylinder, with mathematical symbols and an equation on the base, against a black background.
A sculpture of Jesus Christ lying with his arms extended, placed on a black pedestal. Behind, a tall, shiny silver cylindrical object is visible, set against a black background.

On this piece we decided to bake a philosophical equation into its fabric, to come out with it and make a statement. It talks about the organic and infinite nature of spirituality, connecting it back to the basic building blocks of life.

Behind the Scenes
