The Urgent Need to be Remembered

This form is based on the artwork Rejuvenation, which was the work that launched Jonty's career.It is a unique, one-off oil painting using the form of Rejuvenation as a canvas—a kind of hyper-realism done in an anamorphic reality. The piece is called Urgent Need to be Remembered. As an artist, I find myself continually compelled to make a difference. To make an impact. I catch myself often asking, 'Why?'. Is this need to make an impact a way of reaching for immortality? Is it ultimately the need to achieve a kind of immortality through being remembered?
