The Grief
This sculpture was commissioned by Mario D’Agostino as a tribute to the unimaginable grief and sorrow carried by his wife, Mary, each and every day. Over the years, their family has endured the devastating loss of three children:
Julie (1992–2015)
Kevin (1986–2020)
Michael (1984–2021)
Their loss is felt deeply by those who continue to carry their memory: Elizabeth, who lost her twin Kevin; Natalie, who lost her twin Julie; and Carly. Michael is also lovingly remembered by his fiancée, Anika, and their so to be, Arlo.
