The Door My Daughter Didn't Open

This painting is a dedication to my beautiful daughter on her 13th birthday. For the batmitzvah she never had due to me being in meltdown to some extent. This work, is inspired technically by a common technique among Graffiti artists, templating. It is sprayed onto an old door. The idea was to take the templates down to almost pixel level. In some way to face the difference between the detail and the 'big picture' in life.
