What reminds you of your childhood? In the past, when television signed off at the end of the day, a distinctive test pattern would appear on the screen to check that the broadcast was working. But for many children and parents it became something else entirely: a signal that the day was over — that it was time to relax, to hear a story, and to go to sleep. This sculpture brings us back to those moments: to simplicity, to playing outside, and to the world before the screens that took up all our time.
