The original form of this sculpture, the Savoy Cat, was commissioned by The Savoy Hotel London, where Jonty spent several months as Artist in Residence. This work is a one-off oil painting by Hurwitz using the form of the mystical cat as a canvas. It explores the relationship between hyper-reality and mysticism.
