Multiphoton lithography (also two-photon polymerisation) is a fabrication technique that uses focused femtosecond laser pulses to harden photosensitive resin at a precise focal point, enabling three-dimensional structures with features smaller than one micrometre.

Multiphoton lithography is a nano-fabrication technique for creating intricate three-dimensional structures at a microscopic scale. The process works by using a highly focused laser to selectively solidify points within a volume of photosensitive polymer resin. This method allows for the creation of objects with sub-micron precision, a capacity exploited by artist Jonty Hurwitz to produce some of the smallest sculptures in the world.
